About This Event
The Vermont Department of Mental Health is inviting stakeholders to this one-day, in-person conference as part of a multi-step implementation process to identify and develop a Coordinated Specialty Care - First Episode Psychosis (CSC-FEP) service model for Vermonters experiencing early episodes of psychosis. CSC is an evidence-based practice that uses a team-based approach to provide comprehensive services to address psychosis related to mental illness and its effects on an individual's ability to have a successful life in the community. Offered services include therapy and counseling, medication management, care coordination, employment and education support services, community supports including housing, and peer support. CSC-FEP programs are aimed at improving quality of life and social and clinical outcomes.
