Each year, the Department of Mental Health conducts perception of care surveys to assess the quality of services provided by the Designated Agencies. These surveys, developed nationally as part of the Mental Health Statistics Improvement Program (MHSIP), evaluate services and staff in several domains. The results of the surveys are used to assess areas for improvement as part of Agency Review and are also reported to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) annually.
In addition to the reports below, a shorter, less technical, Executive Summary is available for each report.
