    Under the direction of the Director of Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services, the Assistant Director is responsible for maintaining clinical oversight and accountability of the SUD and CRT programs, including fidelity to the program models, program growth, and financial achievement. The Asst Director is responsible for leading staff, implementing all organizational and strategic changes, enhancing existing services, and achieving positive outcomes. The Asst Director will likely participate in a variety of ad hoc initiatives to achieve the mission and vision of the organization. The Asst Director will focus on systemic change within the program, providing leadership that promotes client first thinking and action.

  • Clinician Intensive Outpatient, United Counseling Services, Bennington, VT.  Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, the IOP Clinician provides direct services to children and families, allowing easy access, timely response, and flexibility to deliver services that are home and community based in a trauma-informed, systems-based, coordinated, cross sector, family-oriented approach. 

  • Clinician SASH (Support and Services at Home) United Counseling Services, Bennington, VT. Direct individual therapeutic support provided in-person, by phone and through telehealth including individual, couples and family therapy, and other psychosocial support.   • Developing Disabilities Eligibility Evaluator, United Counseling Services, Bennington, VT. The DS Eligibility Evaluator will work with the DS Intake Coordinator (Office Manager) to respond to the need for DS Eligibility Testing and to schedule when and where this testing will occur. The Eligibility Evaluator will follow all testing requirements from DAIL, including conducting testing for Autism Spectrum Disorder, IQ, and Adaptive Functioning. The Evaluator will create reports summarizing testing results as per DAIL requirements and will submit these reports back to the DS Intake Coordinator and the DS Director within 21 business days of the evaluation being done.

  • Emergency Clinician, United Counseling Services, Bennington, VT. Under the direction of the clinical and emergency services manager, the Emergency Clinician provides a wide variety of clinical services to mental health and/or substance abuse clients, including clinical case management services, consultation and education services to area schools, agencies, and the community at large.
