Public Hearing - Clara Martin Center ~ Certificate of Approval
Public Hearing Scheduled for Clara Martin Center on proposed renovations at 28 South Main Street in Randolph, VT.
The Department of Mental Health has ruled complete a Certificate of Approval (COA) application from the Clara Martin Center (CMC) for facility renovations on a property owned by the CMC. The application plans to establish four permanent supported housing apartments for persons living with mental illness. The COA application and related attachments and tables are posted on the DMH website.
This application will be the subject of an upcoming public hearing and public comment period. The hearing is scheduled for June 27, 2018 from 9:00am to 10:00am, Ash Conference Room, 280 State Drive, Waterbury, VT. The applicant will offer a 15-20 minute overview of the proposed project. DMH representatives will be in attendance at the hearing and make recommendations to the Commissioner of Mental Health, Melissa Bailey, who will decide whether or not to grant a Certificate of Approval after considering the recommendations of the review panel and general public input.
The public is also welcome to submit comments about the proposal.
